I got an MG-1 the hard way. I bought mine from Radio Shack in 1984! Except for having to clean that nasty decaying foam out of it I have had no problems. It still works as good as it did when I bought it and I have used it over the years in making several cd's. Of course I have to warm it up for a couple of hours so it will stay in tune, just like most of the vintage gear from that age. It is one of my prized instruments that makes sounds you just can't get out of today's equipment.
